I grew up seeing what life looks like when a household has very little financial margin. Since then I’ve tried a lot of ways to make a living: restaurants, sales, insurance, property work, trading, writing, and building projects of my own.
Some paths taught me skills. Some brought income. Some gave me more room to choose. Others came with obligations I hadn’t fully counted. I’m still learning the difference.
This is where I work through those questions in public, with the hope that the work is useful to someone building alongside me.
